What is a dedicated server, and when should I choose one?
A dedicated server is one physical machine allocated to you alone: every core, all the RAM, both drives. Choose it when you need consistent performance under load, custom kernels or virtualisation, or you'd rather not share a host with anyone. For smaller workloads a VPS on the same 9950X is usually enough, and we'll say so.
How much does a dedicated server cost per month?
Stock servers start at $90 for a Ryzen 5 5600X with 64 GB DDR4, $120 for a Ryzen 7 5800X with 128 GB DDR4 and $330 for a Ryzen 9 9950X with 256 GB DDR5. Every server includes 1 Gbps unmetered and DDoS protection, and renews at the price you signed up at.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes. Layer 3/4 mitigation is always on for every dedicated server at no extra charge.
What does unmetered bandwidth mean?
Traffic on your 1 Gbps port isn't metered or billed by the terabyte.
What is IPMI used for?
IPMI is out-of-band access to the machine: a browser console (KVM), power control and OS reinstalls that keep working when the operating system won't boot or SSH is down.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. RAM, storage and bandwidth changes are handled through a ticket, and we'll tell you up front whether the change needs a maintenance window.
Is the server managed?
Servers are self-managed by default: you get root, IPMI and a panel for power, reinstalls and console. If you want us to run it for you, that's an Enterprise engagement.

Yes, at no charge. We move data, configs and DNS from your current provider and agree the cutover with you.
What uptime do you commit to?
99.9% under our Service Level Agreement, which also sets out hardware replacement times and how credits work.
